N219 Nurtanio will be the most suitable mode of transportation to open, improve people economy growth, and to maintain defense and security in isolated areas.
N219 Nurtanio is a new generation multi-purpose aircraft, which is designed to carry 19 passengers with the largest cabin cross section of its class, the engine is proven and efficient, advanced avionics system, fixed tricycle landing gear, and wide cargo door to make it easier to change aircraft configuration. Thus, N219 Nurtanio is designed to provide the advantages to the operators from technical and economic aspects.
The main program of PTDI in 1976 was to manufacture the under licensed of NC212-200 from CASA, Spain. As many as 103 NC212-200s of civilian and military versions had been produced by PTDI.
Between 2004-2008, all necessary jigs and fixture for NC212-400 have been relocated to Bandung from San Pablo, Spain. PTDI became the single source producer of the NC212 family. Since 2014, PTDI has no longer produced the NC212-200 and NC212-400, and also PTDI has upgraded the aircraft into a more advanced NC212i version.
On October 17, 1979, IPTN and CASA (now Airbus Defense & Space) established a new joint-venture company, Aircraft Technology (Airtech) to design the CN235. This new multi-purpose aircraft has a Short Take-Off and Landing (STOL) capability at 800 meters rugged airstrips, ramp door for out/coming goods easily, and low cost maintenance characteristics.
The first prototype “Elena” produced by CASA made the maiden flight on November 11, 1983 and the second prototype “Tetuko” produced by IPTN (now PTDI) flew for the first time on December 1983. The serial production began in 1986 for the 10 and 100 versions
CN295 is the trusted partner for military operations in remote areas and a rapid response aircraft for humanitarian missions. More than 95 aircrafts are in service with130,000 flying hours around the world.
CN295 provides higher availability, due to its high reliability and ease of maintenance. Airbus Defence & Space and PTDI offers Full In-Service Support with availability guaranteed by contract with Indonesian Air Force.
Under agreements with Airbus Helicopter and Bell Helicopter Textron, PTDI offers several helicopter products.
[Light Class Helicopters] As part of the Ecureuil family, the AS550 C3e Fennec is Airbus Helicopter 2-ton class solution for armed scouting requirements. The rotor system permits smooth and quiet operations with being able to fly at high speed. With the characteristics of easy to fly and easy to maintain everywhere, even in the most extreme and harsh conditions, this armed scouting helicopter delivers maximum safety and performance.
With a small footprint characteristic, low detectability and equipped with Weapon System. Fennec is highly effective for all military operations. Due to its strong beams and wide range of weapon selections, the helicopter crews are able to rapidly mount and dismount the weapons.
[Medium Class Helicopters]
AS565 MBe is the worldwide medium reference for naval, amphibious and land missions. With its superb performance, whether over the sea, in extreme conditions both day and night, land based operations or even ship-borne operations. AS565 MBe is the ideal multi-mission, flexible asset.
It has undergone high intensity operational experiences in Anti Submarine Warfare (ASW) operations, Anti Surface Warfare (ASuW) operations, and armed scout/light attack missions, special operations, maritime security control/patrol, Search and Rescue (SAR), light utility mission, etc.
[Heavy Class Helicopters] Six years after the estabilishment of IPTN in 1976, 11 helicopters under-licensed Puma NSA330s from French Sud-Aeronautique were produced and delivered to Indonesian Air Forces.
