PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Indonesian-aircraft Industries) produces various types of aircraft to fulfill the needs of civil airlines, military operators and specific missions. Through many years in aircraft design, PTDI has become proficient in, capable of designing new aircraft and changing the aircraft's system configuration, and structure for specific mission purposes such as maritime patrol, surveillance and coast guard.

N219 Nurtanio

N219 Nurtanio will be the most suitable mode of transportation to open, improve people economy growth, and to maintain defense and security in isolated areas.

N219 Nurtanio is a new generation multi-purpose aircraft, which is designed to carry 19 passengers with the largest cabin cross section of its class, the engine is proven and efficient, advanced avionics system, fixed tricycle landing gear, and wide cargo door to make it easier to change aircraft configuration. Thus, N219 Nurtanio is designed to provide the advantages to the operators from technical and economic aspects.

NC212 Family

The main program of PTDI in 1976 was to manufacture the under licensed of NC212-200 from CASA, Spain. As many as 103 NC212-200s of civilian and military versions had been produced by PTDI.

Between 2004-2008, all necessary jigs and fixture for NC212-400 have been relocated to Bandung from San Pablo, Spain. PTDI became the single source producer of the NC212 family. Since 2014, PTDI has no longer produced the NC212-200 and NC212-400, and also PTDI has upgraded the aircraft into a more advanced NC212i version.

CN235 Family

On October 17, 1979, IPTN and CASA (now Airbus Defense & Space) established a new joint-venture company, Aircraft Technology (Airtech) to design the CN235. This new multi-purpose aircraft has a Short Take-Off and Landing (STOL) capability at 800 meters rugged airstrips, ramp door for out/coming goods easily, and low cost maintenance characteristics.

The first prototype “Elena” produced by CASA made the maiden flight on November 11, 1983 and the second prototype “Tetuko” produced by IPTN (now PTDI) flew for the first time on December 1983. The serial production began in 1986 for the 10 and 100 versions

CN295

CN295 is the trusted partner for military operations in remote areas and a rapid response aircraft for humanitarian missions. More than 95 aircrafts are in service with130,000 flying hours around the world.

CN295 provides higher availability, due to its high reliability and ease of maintenance. Airbus Defence & Space and PTDI offers Full In-Service Support with availability guaranteed by contract with Indonesian Air Force.
